Colt baby turned 8 months June 23rd! I hate to say that I don't want time to slow down but I am so glad we survived the first 6 months. Colt has turned into such a happy baby and guess what? He is a total mamas boy! It is so weird to have a baby want you exclusively, but it's also very challenging. But mostly it melts my heart. He is fine if someone else holds him as long as I walk away and I don't talk or make eye contact.
Colt started crawling in May and it has opened up a whole new ball game. He is quick too! Colt is a total hair puller and he loved to chew on my necklaces. He also loves paper and napkins...in his mouth. If there is a napkin nearby he is trying to eat it. It's weird.
Colt loves watching Liam and I can already tell how eager he is to play with him. Liam is still playing the awesome big brother role. But he also is totally entertained by steam rolling and body slamming and Colt just takes it! I mean they are only 8 pounds difference so its almost an even playing field.
Last week Colt went through an awful teething spell and was so fevery and grump that I took him into the doctor. Sure enough, just teeth. Liam kept saying "oh I'm sorry baby, do your teeth hurt you?" He was so concerned for Colty.
Colt still isn't sleeping through the night, at this point I don't know if he ever will. haha. no really.
But I still hold on to the moments during the day that he will fall asleep in my arms! Ugh, he is so yummy I could cry!
Colt LOVES food. Anytime I feed him he says "mmmmmm" after every bite. He will eating everything and if I am eating and he isn't getting food fast enough he is distraught.
Here are some of my favorite pics of Colty over the last two months!

Sent my sister this picture and said "Liam is bossing Colt around to play library with him, I'm having flashbacks." Being the 2nd child is rough.
Teething baby boy with a fever
Lately he falls asleep slumped forward like this, it is so sad.
