We are SO excited!!!  We went to the doctor last week
and got to see this little guy (or girl) moving around!!
We are still trying to grasp that we are going to be
parents (even though we were trying.)

So in about 7 months i'll actually have pictures to post on this
boring blog!!!

Twilight Zone

So the weirdest thing happened last night that I just have to share.  At about 7:30 Josh was getting ready for his basketball game and I was just laying on the couch and our doorbell rings.  Josh went to the door and though it was weird because usually we know if someone is coming over because we have to explain how to get to our place.  There was a random guy who said he had found a check with our address on it and asked if Mrs. so-and-so (just in case anyone knows her) lived here.  Josh looked at it and it was a tithing check written out to our ward.  He found it on the street just east of our house.  We told him we were about to go to the church and we would take care of it.  We shut the door and Josh and I were looking at it and Josh repeated her name.  Oh my gosh, she is in our ward, and she just died a few days ago.  But her address on the check was our condo unit.  So I looked it up in the directory and she lives a few units down.  Then Josh said oh my gosh look at the date.  8/5/2000.  August 5th is our anniversary.  She lived in our unit in 2000.  WEIRD.  So we get to the church to talk to someone about it and oh my gosh there is a hearse (sp?) out front.  Her viewing is going on inside.  So this is just a series of coincidental events but it really had me spooked last night and now all I can think about is how old our units are and how many people have probably lived here.

So long 2010, hello 2011

So I'm basically worlds worst photographer
and didn't snap a single picture on Christmas.
I didn't feel like Christmas this year, I don't know
If it's a getting older thing, a weather thing,
or a only two of us thing.  I was lacking Christmas spirit.

On the other hand I LOVED working the crazy days
at the salon in December!  I want Christmas to
come every month so I can get tipped double
and get all those clients desperately needing me to fit
them in.
I'm sure Christmas is much more
exciting when you have kids.  I had to wake up Josh
and drag Hendrix out of the kennel on Christmas Morning.
But my honey did surprise me with a very
unexpected gift!  I got diamond earrings!!!
Wow!  I'm bragging and I feel good about it.
He did so good, I was shocked when he handed me
a jewelry box!!!!  Josh is seriously
sooo good at giving gifts.

We were so spoiled by our families,
and enjoyed all the time we got to spend
with them!  Now back to the real world.

Since we went out of the country last February I
have been dying to travel.  So we decided to
take another vaca this February for Valentines.  We
were going to go on a cruise to the Bahamas but we just
can't get the flight times to work with our schedule.
We decided we will have to settle with the states.
We both want to go to NY but in February? So
If anyone out there reads this blog....Post your suggestions
for a fun vacation in the states, where it's not to cold!!!
Thanks!!!

My main man Ray

I was Folding Josh's clothes today
and I just had to take a picture of this.
He has 4 pairs of the same American Eagle
Jeans.  Same wash, same store, same cut.
He swears they all fit different.  He gets anxiety if
his "favorite" pair aren't available to him at any time.
He is just so funny.

Ready?? Nooo

We have had such a busy month (I feel like
a majority of my posts start this way, oh well.)

It has been an interesting, crazy, emotional, and
fun month.
I was really excited for Christmas so I started set up
a week before Thanksgiving.
Then I was so mad that some of the lights were out on
my tree I didn't finish decorating til Thanksgiving.
The final product....

Our Thanksgiving went mostly like this...

You can't tell but he is playing poker on his phone while
watching football.  Marvelous.

We did the typical family stuff.  Then Friday morning Charlie and me

Went with all the crazies black Friday shopping.
It was INSANE.  It felt like it was all a daze by the time we were done.
But guess what?  All of my Christmas Shopping is done, wrapped,
and under the tree. Whew.  I don't know if I will be
attending the mad fest again next year, but it was a fun
one time thing and now I can sit back and enjoy December!!!

P.s. We saw Unstoppable friday night and LOVED it.  Go see it!

Lazy Nights..

Josh and I have been working a TON lately.
With the holidays coming up it is sure to get busier.
By the time we both get off work we are exhausted.
We come home eat dinner and just watch TV and walk
on each others backs!  Last night Josh and I were laying on the big
couch and Hendrix decided he wanted in.  We usually don't let
him on the couches but we were to tired to fight him and he
is a snuggler.  He laid at our feet and it was so cute.
I wish I could have taken a picture of our happy little family all on one
couch.  Hendrix was snoring while we watched the history channel.
I love nights like these especially with us working so much it's nice to just
spend time together and relax.

Here are some of our shows we have been watching:

Pawn stars
Chopped
Next Iron Chef
Vampire Diaries
Greys Anatomy
The Office
Big Break Dominican Republic
Jerseylicious (Josh has to be asleep for me to watch this)
Best Thing I ever ate
Undercover Boss
