Some random videos

Here are some random videos of Liam the last few months that I love

We have moved..

After 5 years at our condo we finally upgraded to more space.  I thought I would be really sad leaving, especially since we have done so much work to it, but I was so ready to move on.  The condo will always have a special place in my heart but with a growing family it just didn't meet our needs anymore.  We still own it and are renting it out to a very nice single mom, but might try to sell it again in the future.  We moved down the street to a town house in our same ward and we already feel like it's where we should be right now.  I am so glad I'm able to stay in yw in our ward and close to work and family, but we are only planning on staying here for a year or so.  We are loving having a backyard and more space, especially Hendrix and Liam.  Once we get a little more settled in I will post some pictures.  I am in ultimate nesting mode.

Boating

The week of the fourth we went boating with some of Josh's family.  Liam hated the boat last year so I was nervous to see how he would do this year.  Oh.my.gosh.  This kid fell in love.  He would get sad when the boat slowed down and just wanted to go fast!  He would yell "YEAHHHHH" the whole time.  I was very set on not allowing Liam on the tube, but of course I got talked into it.  Needles to say I'm in serious trouble because Liam was in total bliss and didn't want to get off the tube.  He was standing with his hands in the air, blowing kisses, and yelling hiiii mom.  Looks like there will have to be another boat ride in our future.

Fourth of July

This year for the 4th we were extra excited to show Liam the fireworks and let his stay up late.  It was such a stretch to keep him up but was SO worth it.  We went to Holladay and hung out on the grass eating "pop" and listening to music.  Liam was in heaven, dancing around and saying hi to random strangers.  All he wanted to do was go sit with other people on their blankets and at one point ended up laying down in the middle of a group of cheer leaders.  That's my boy.

Not happy about being dragged back to the blanket

Liam LOVED the fireworks and it was so worth letting him stay up til 12!  He kept yelling "oh wow, oh ya!" and clapping and dancing to the music.

I hope they call me on a mission..

My adorable brother Charlie got his mission call last month.  He was called to the Los Angeles, California Mission, Spanish speaking.  He reports to the Mexico MTC October 2nd.  We are so excited for him and know that he will be an amazing missionary.  It was such a neat experience to watch him open his call.  He will be starting a great legacy in our family, being the first of his siblings and extended family.

When he was set apart as an Elder a few weeks ago my Dad, Mom, and Grandpa said a few words.  For documentation sake I want to share what my Grandpa said.  He said it wasn't to long ago that my daughter was bringing home a Lutheran boy from Los Angles and wanted to marry him.  They always excepted my Dad for who he was but it was because of my Dads desire to learn more about the LDS church years after they were married and then decided to be baptized and my parents raising us in the Gospel that Charlie was going on a mission and was about to be ordained an Elder.   It was truly emotional and spiritual and I couldn't be prouder of my Brother or my family for where they are today.  We love you Charlie Brown!

20/21

Since my life isn't getting any less busy, I have had this post on my to-do list the last couple weeks.  (I started this post in June and am just barely getting the time to finish it so consider it Liam at 20 and 21 months)

Liam is at such a FUN stage right now.  He responds back to us and is a total copycat!  Did I mention this kid has us in stitches 90% of the time?

A few days ago Liam kept singing a little sentence over and over.  Josh and I at first could not figure out what it was then we finally realized it was "ring around the rosies" which is so funny because we have not taught him that at home.  We decided they must sing it at nursery.  Liam's version is "ashes ashes ashes ashes, down!"

One time while driving in the car to Grandmas we saw a policeman pull someone over.  Liam was very concerned and kept saying "oh no, oh no!"  when we got to my moms he pointed to the street saying "oh no, oh no!" followed by some very intense jibberish.  He wanted to tell Gma what he had seen.

Liam has an obsession with waking up sleeping people, so that will be fun with the new baby.  He will shhhh then tap the person and yell.  I don't know where he learned this but hopefully we can kick that habit.

Liam has taken an interest in calling "mom?" at least every ten minutes.  While packing up the condo I would hear him yell "mom?" and when I went to check on him I would say "yes Liam?" and he would say "HI".

While cleaning the condo I got pretty focused and all the sudden couldn't see Liam (which we had nothing in it so it was really freaky)  I yelled LIAM? and just then I could hear laughing coming from INSIDE the fridge.  He thought he was so clever and was not happy when I made him get out.

He loves singing and dancing and his new favorite toy is a drum that came with other musical instruments.  We also just bought him a "baby" doll to take care of, he makes sure she is always fed and sitting next to him...but the other day I caught him chewing on her head...

Liam Started nursery in April.  The first few weeks he went in with no problem and had so much fun.  Then he started getting a little more reserved and Josh and I were in and out trying to make him more comfortable.  He has great nursery leaders and they are always so patient!  One day while sitting in with him I snapped a couple pictures, this boy sure loves his picture taken...

Here are a few other random pictures from the last couple months...
